Magnolia Square – 2011

Magnolia Square for 2011 has introduced a new shopping experience around the concept of ‘Paper & Thread’. Leading Sydney paper artist Jo Neville of Paper Couture will be creating a unique installation space during the three days of the show.

magnolia square 2011Having attended Magnolia Square twice before (Randwick Racecourse) this will be the first time we have been at Paddington Town Hall.

If you want a full shopping experience I recommend you park at Fox Studios (where the parking is plentiful) and use the shuttle bus which will be operating between Fox Studios and the Paddington Town Hall for the duration of the event. A fee of $10 includes the round trip and admission.

Magnolia Square is a different kind of design shopping experience from many of the others I have attended. The retailers are usually more experienced in the designer goods/retail industry – and it shows. The effort put into the displays are amazing (I always feel inadequate when confronted by the attention to detail that has been lavished on their spaces).
