The Photocurator
The photocurator is a simple way to create a photowall where you can change your photos around easily.
Using a simple curve to hold the image in place and light adhesive tape to hold the mounts onto the wall, the photocurator is a simple light way to display your images. For more information (including movies of how they work) on the Photocurator click here.
There are 10 mounts in a pack - enough to display 5 photographs
The Photocurator is held onto the wall using a light (low tack) adhesive tape. From our testing we have found the adhesive can be rolled off the wall successfully without marking the paint on many different wall types.
We do not recommend using the photocurator on walls with flaking paint or rendered plaster.
Yes they can. If you want to move your photo-wall display to a new location or into a different composition then (depending on the surface they are being removed from) they can be removed and re-stuck on average 10-15 times.
If the wall is a rough unfinished surface (such as cinder-block or brick) then they may only re-stick 3-5 times. Mirror and Glass can usually re-stuck upwards of 20.
Yes we do, please look in our online shop.
Most of the Photocurator packs sold in Australia are produced in Sydney, NSW (Marrickville to be precise).
The Photocurator packs sold internationally - Singapore, Canada and the USA are made in China.
At the moment the photocurator is only available to fit 6" x 4" (10cm x 15cm) photographic prints. At the time of writing the A4 version (a little larger than 8" x 10") is only in working prototype stage and is still a few months away. If you are interested in being alerted to when this larger size is available, sign up to our mailing list.
Yes they can. Although they have not been designed to use in this format they can be used this way if you place a small piece of sticky tape along the along the side of the clips. This stops the photo from sliding out when it is place this way around.
The reason why your photos are not be staying in your mounts is usually a combination of the paper being too thin and humidity in the air.
We do not recommend that using home printed photos or 6x4 prints of a lower quality. When this is combined with a location in the house near moisture (the bathroom, kitchen etc) your images may only stay in for a couple of days before they lose grip.
Please use images printed on quality 200gsm paper and above - such as Kodak Royal (rather than Kodak XtraLife II).
